First Rehearsal Monday 8/28

The first rehearsal of the 2017-18 Symphony Season is upon us! Below are a few friendly reminders and announcements:

• There is still construction in the parking lot north of Central UMC, so in addition to the lots just east of our rehearsal space and just north, we might have to overflow to the parking lot to the south. Carpools are encouraged!
• We do have an unofficial Facebook group, if you want to join. Mostly it is for sharing jokes about how we don't look at the conductor. ;-)
• You can add our TPSC calendar to your own, so you'll never miss any updates to the schedule!
• We can expect that our rehearsal on Monday will include work on Beethoven's 9th. Please check in our with librarians for that and any other music. We'll have music for you, but if you do have your own score (Beethoven, "Ode to Joy," Edition Peters No. 2227), please remember to bring it.
• Messenger bags and some shirts should available for purchase at the rehearsal, so if you are interested in these, please bring money! :)
